New York Summer Festivals SummerStage and Celebrate Brooklyn! Announce Lineups


Two huge summer-spanning festivals are returning to New York City this year: SummerStage, which will take place at various parks across the five boroughs, and Celebrate Brooklyn!, which takes place at the Prospect Park Bandshell. The schedule and lineup for each festival have been detailed.



SummerStage will feature sets from Beck, Mobb Deep, Conor Oberst, Blood Orange, Ty Dolla $ign, Mykki Blanco, Pro Era, Mark McGuire, Marissa Nadler, Andrew Bird, Bonobo, Cibo Matto, and many more. While some performances will be free, others will require tickets. Find the full schedule here.


Celebrate Brooklyn! will feature performances from Neutral Milk Hotel, Janelle Monáe, the National, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, St. Vincent, Dum Dum Girls, Phosphorescent, Warpaint, Deltron 3030, Devendra Banhart, and many more. Pitchfork Launches Nightcap Series


This June, Pitchfork is launching Nightcap, a series of late night shows across the United States.


The first event takes place on June 6 at the Studio at Webster Hall, featuring Majical Cloudz with Dutch E Germ. Nightcap will also include shows in Chicago, Portland (Oregon), Seattle, San Francisco, and New Orleans. Those lineups will be announced shortly.


Tickets for the New York City show with Majical Cloudz and Dutch E Germ go on sale Friday, May 2 at 10 am Eastern time. Tickets are $15 and the show is 21+. Doors are at 10pm.
