The Decemberists' Colin Meloy performed a new song while guesting on CBC's Q with Jian Ghomeshi, which aired today. It's called "Carolina Low", and it was supposedly written earlier on the day of the performance. Listen to it and the rest of his interview above.
Later on in the show, Meloy said that the Decemberists are also working on a new album (more details forthcoming).
