Coachella 2017: Lady Gaga to Replace Beyoncé

Coachella 2017: Lady Gaga to Replace Beyoncé

Lady Gaga has replaced Beyoncé as a headliner at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Beyoncé pulled out of the festival in February due to her pregnancy at “the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months.” Gaga, fresh off her Super Bowl performance and Metallica collaboration at the Grammys, will now perform on April 15 and 22. The two headlining sets will precede her world tour later this year. See the updated Coachella poster and find Gaga’s updated itinerary below.

After publicly announcing her pregnancy, Beyoncé still performed at the Grammys, where she also won Best Urban Contemporary Album (for Lemonade) and Best Music Video (for “Formation”).
