Waxploitation has shared a new video from its forthcoming book project Stories for Ways and Means. The clip features Andre Royo (best known for playing Bubbles in HBO’s “The Wire”) narrating Nick Cave’s contribution–a story called “The Lonely Giant.” It’s about a crying giant whose tears cause trouble for his neighbors. Below, watch Royo narrate in a garden.
Stories for Ways and Means feature stories by Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, Tom Waits, Pixie’s Frank Black, Laura Marling, Devendra Banhart, Kathleen Hanna, and more. Yesterday, Waxploitation shared the animated video for Jim James’ “Oslo and Plum.” Future videos will feature guest narration from Lizzo, King Krule, Danny DeVito, and others.
