Frank Ocean Releases Video for New Track “Nikes”: Watch

Frank Ocean just released his visual album Endless, and late last night, he shared another new music video. Watch the five-minute visual for “Nikes” below. (As Endless arrived, Apple Music reps teased, “Keep an eye out this weekend for more from Frank.”) The video features a significant amount of nudity, including a part where light emanates when a woman spreads her legs. At one point a pitched up voice sings “R.I.P. A$AP” as A$AP Rocky holds up a portrait of A$AP Yams. He also honors Pimp C and Trayvon Martin (“R.I.P. Trayvon/That nigga looked just like me.”)

Along with Endless this could potentially explain his mysterious Tumblr post from last April, when he wrote, “I got two versions” (which is also a line in “Nikes”). Endless, which was teased for weeks via a mysterious web stream, features contributions from James Blake, Radiohead guitarist/composer Jonny Greenwood, Sampha, Jazmine Sullivan, and more. Another new album could very well surface soon.
