Radiohead Release PolyFauna App

Radiohead Release PolyFauna App

Radiohead now have an app, Thom Yorke writes. It's called PolyFauna and sounds similar in spirit to Björk's Biophilia project: "It comes from an interest in early computer-life experiments and the imagined creatures of our subconscious," Yorke describes. Inspired by The King of Limbs recording sessions, it uses imagery and sounds from "Bloom". That's a screenshot, above.

The app was created in conjunction with UK digital arts studio Universal Everything—download it free here (iOS) and here (Android).

The description reads:

"Your screen is the window into an evolving world.

Move around to look around.

You can follow the red dot.

You can wear headphones.

You can get some pretty strange looks on the train."
