Kendrick Lamar and Tame Impala Do New "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" for Divergent Soundtrack

The latest young-adult lit/film phenomenon Divergent is going to produce one of the year's event soundtracks. In addition to the previously announced A$AP Rocky/Gesaffelstein and Chance the Rapper/Pia Mia/Clams Casino teamups, the soundtrack will feature a new collaboration between Kendrick Lamar and Tame Impala. The song is a reworking of Tame Impala's "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" with Kendrick on vocals, and it's simply called "Backwards".

The soundtrack also features new music from M83, Skrillex, Ellie Goulding, and a bunch more. It's out on March 11, followed by the film's theatrical release on March 21.
