Rick Ross and the two-man production team the Runners are suing pop outfit LMFAO for copyright infringement, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The dispute focuses on LMFAO's 2010 hit "Party Rock Anthem" and the phrase "Everyday I'm shufflin'," which the suit alleges is infringement on Ross' 2006 hit "Hustlin'". (“Everyday I’m shufflin’...” in “Party Rock Anthem” is performed in a manner to sound like “Everyday I’m hustlin’...” in “Hustlin’”, is a prominent hook of “Party Rock Anthem” and is an obvious attempt to capitalize on the fame and success of "Hustlin’"," the suit reads).

Rick Ross recently scored a legal victory against drug kingpin "Freeway" Rick Ross, who sued the rapper for adopting his name and likeness. An appeals court dismissed the case, citing the First Amendment.
