“Stranger Things” is the latest Netflix original series to capture the public attention. Set in 1983, it tells the story of a small town in Indiana where a young boy mysteriously goes missing. It features a score by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, who are a part of the Austin band S U R V I V E. Their music for the program is now on its own to being officially released, as FACT points out. Today, it was announced on the show’s Facebook page that Dixon and Stein’s soundtrack “is coming soon.”
In addition to the “Stranger Things” soundtrack, Dixon and Stein’s S U R V I V E have their own record on the way. It’s called RR7349, and it’s out September 30 via Relapse Records. Listen to their single “A.H.B.” above.
