PJ Harvey, Patti Smith, Brian Eno, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Laibach are among the artists on board for a global event in support of Julian Assange. The events will take place on June 19, marking four years since Assange—the Wikileaks founder, who is wanted in Sweden over a sexual assault allegation—was granted political asylum in London’s Ecuadorian Embassy. Other speakers include Noam Chomsky, Vivienne Westwood, Ai Wei Wei, and Slavoj Žižek. Patti Smith will be speaking at the Paris Pompidou on June 19, the same day Harvey speaks at Berlin’s Volksbühne. See the full speakers list here.
