In September, Childish Gambino premiered material from his upcoming album “Awaken, My Love!” at a series of concerts held in Joshua Tree, CA. Today, he’s shared a virtual reality video depicting a performance of “Me and Your Mama” at one of the PHAROS concerts. You can watch the video on his smartphone app “PHAROS Earth.” You’ll need a virtual reality headset to stream the performance. Download the app here.
Yesterday, the rapper announced that “Awaken, My Love!” will be released as a limited edition “virtual reality” vinyl. What exactly that entails is still unknown, but you can find more information on his website. Awaken, My Love!” will be released this Friday.
