Today kicks off Primavera Sound 2016. Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, PJ Harvey, and Sigur Rós are set to headline. Tame Impala, Sigur Rós, Animal Collective, Beach House, the Last Shadow Puppets, Brian Wilson (performing Pet Sounds), John Carpenter, Julia Holter, Savages, Air, Action Bronson, Explosions in the Sky, Moderat, Drive Like Jehu, Dinosaur Jr., Deerhunter, Kamasi Washington, Battles, Thee Oh Sees, Sheer Mag, Beirut, Dâm-Funk, Floating Points, Titus Andronicus, and many more are set to take the stage through Friday.
Suede, Bradford Cox, Black Lips, Deradoorian, Parquet Courts, Ty Segall and the Muggers, Julien Baker, Alex G, Mudhoney, Jessy Lanza, White Fence, Suuns, Empress Of, and Psychic TV will be playing free shows at the festival. Hudson Mohawke, Neon Indian, Vince Staples, Pusha T, Jenny Hval, Shellac, Car Seat Headrest, Holly Herndon, Evian Christ, Freddie Gibbs, Protomartyr, Dâm-Funk, Chairlift, Beach Slang, Nao, Moses Sumney, Royal Headache, and more will perform on the Pitchfork stage.
