One of the highlights from this year's Record Store Day was a 45 box set from Numero Group that collected the seminal DIY punk label Ork Records' entire 1975-1979 output. If you missed out the first time around, fear not—the label's full discography will be available as a 4xLP/2xCD set. Ork Records: New York, New York is out October 30 via Numero. Find the trailer below.
The record comes accompanied by a 120-page book featuring photos and "sordid details".
Co-founded by Television manager Terry Ork and Charles Ball, Ork released early stuff from Television, Richard Hell, Alex Chilton (as a solo artist), the Feelies, Cheetah Chrome, the dBs, and others.
