Greg Ginn's recent incarnation of Black Flag has made some questionable decisions over the past year or so–the band has admitted as much—but here's one that seems nice. On June 17, Ginn, new vocalist Mike Vallely, and the band will play Reggies Chicago, as part of their "Victimology Tour". Before that, at 6 p.m., they'll do a special free all-ages show "for the kids" at the same venue.
Per the press release: "Meet Greg Ginn and the other members of Black Flag as they play stripped down Black Flag songs for the kids!" Here's to hoping for a very carefully assembled playlist free of depression, self-destruction, and nervous breakdowns.
