One day after debuting her new single “Perfect Places,” Lorde performed it live for the first time at Governors Ball Music Festival. Watch below. It’s the third official release from her forthcoming album Melodrama, which is out June 16 via LAVA/Republic. The others include “Liability” and “Green Light.” Lorde has also performed two additional tracks, “Homemade Dynamite” and “Sober,” at recent concerts. Lorde annotated the lyrics to “Perfect Places” on Genius, where she explained how a hot New York summer and terrible news headlines made their way into the song.
