This week, Annie Clark (aka St. Vincent) joined Rookie founder Tavi Gevinson for the Q&A segment, “Ask a Grown,” on “The Rookie Podcast.” One listener asked what to do to develop more confidence. In addition to sharing advice her uncle once gave her, Clark offered, “I think the ‘faking it til you make it’ thing is very real. If you don't have confidence, pretend to be a person who does, and eventually you will have confidence because you’ll see the fruits of your reaching out to people.” St. Vincent recently appeared in a video alongside John Legend and Zach Galifianakis to promote the benefit compilation “7-inches for Planned Parenthood.” The Chemical Brothers also unleashed a new interactive VR experience for their 2015 collaborative track with her, “Under Neon Lights.” Her last self-titled album came out in 2014.
