Ramones’ Leave Home 40th Anniversary Reissue Announced

Ramones’ classic Leave Home album is being reissued in honor of its 40th anniversary. The deluxe box set arrives July 14 via Rhino, and it includes two versions of the record: a remastered version of the original 1977 mix and a new mix of the record from Ed Stasium, Leave Home’s original mixing engineer. The box set also features CDS of previously unheard material, an unreleased 1977 live show recorded at CBGBs, and more. It’s all packaged in a hardcover book. Last year, Ramones’ self-titled debut received a 40th anniversary reissue.
