Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett have announced a North American tour. The pair will perform songs from a new collaborative record (which was teased earlier this year). The duo will be backed by the Sea Lice, a band featuring Janet Weiss (Sleater-Kinney, Wild Flag), Rob Laakso (The Violators, The Swirlies, Mice Parade), Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint), and Katie Harkin (Sky Larkin, touring member of Sleater-Kinney and Wild Beasts). Check out their dates below. The duo has also partnered with Plus 1 to donate $1 from each ticket to the ACLU. Their new album is out later this year, via Matador, Marathon Artists, and Milk!.
Vile’s last LP was 2015’s b’lieve i’m goin down. In the same year, Barnett released Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit.
