The cult 2001 film Super Troopers is getting a sequel, headed by returning director Jay Chandrasekhar. Now, it’s been announced that the score for the new follow-up movie will be recorded by none other than Eagles of Death Metal, as Exclaim! points out. Jesse Hughes and the rest of the band have been on tour for much of this year, performing on the road with Mastodon and recently revealing that they’d recorded a pair of tracks with Kesha. Their last studio album Zipper Down was released in 2015. Super Troopers 2 is set to arrive later this year.
