NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio, Glenn Greenwald, More to Speak at Northside Festival

Northside Festival is set to take place this year from June 7 to 11 in Brooklyn, New York. They previously revealed their musical lineup, which featured Dirty Projectors, Miguel, Kamasi Washington, and more. The festival has now announced their first Northside Report, a two-day event in collaboration with First Look Media and BuzzFeed News as part of Northside Innovation. Among the participants will be New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio, The Intercept’s Glenn Greenwald, and Winnie Wong—the co-founder of People for Bernie and creator of #FeelTheBern. Programming for the event includes conversations about the role of the media, new journalism, feminism, and more. The event will take place June 8-9. Find more information here.

Pitchfork recently announced our showcase at Northside Festival. The lineup includes Downtown BoysFlesh World, and Field Agent, with a special guest yet to be announced. The 21+ showcase starts at 8pm. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here
