Last year, American Football released their second self-titled album and first album in 17 years. Now, they’ve shared a new video for a song from the album, “I’ve Been So Lost For So Long,” via Funny or Die. Watch it below. The video follows several generations of fathers and sons. In some generations, the son is goth and the dad isn’t; in others, the roles are reversed. But no matter where they fit into the dynamic, they never seem to understand each other.
American Football will tour this summer, including a performance at this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival. The festival takes place in Chicago’s Union Park from July 14–16. A Tribe Called Quest, LCD Soundsystem, and Solange will headline. Get tickets here.
