Pitchfork Nominated for Three 2017 Webby Awards

Pitchfork is honored to announce that we’ve been nominated for 3 Webby Awards. The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which presents the awards, has nominated Pitchfork in the following categories: Best Individual Editorial Experience for “Natural Selection,” Best Branded Editorial Experience for Spotify Discover, and Best Animation for “A Brief History of Goth.” We were also honorees in both the Music (website) category for Pitchfork and in Best Visual Design - Function (for the Pitchfork Music Festival Website).

Each year, there are two awards per category. The Academy chooses the first, and the public chooses the second: the People's Voice Award. If you'd like to show your support for Pitchfork, cast your vote and make your voice heard. View the complete list of nominees here by selecting “Start Voting,” and “Categories.” Polls are open now through Thursday, April 20.

Pitchfork was nominated for two awards in 2016—Web: Music and Online Film & Video: Channels and Networks: Music for Pitchfork.tv's Over/Under series.
