The soundtrack for Jim Henson and Frank Oz’s 1982 fantasy film The Dark Crystal is being reissued on vinyl for the first time since the film’s release. Celebrating the movie’s 35th anniversary, the LP is limited to a pressing of 1,500 copies and is out April 22 on Enjoy the Toons Records for this year’s Record Store Day. The score, composed by Trevor Jones (Labyrinth, The Last of the Mohicans), was recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.
