Phoenix have announced a series of festival dates in 2017, but Governors Ball is the first U.S. show the band have announced for the year. It’s a rare set for Childish Gambino, who has yet to tour behind his new album Awaken My Love!. Alongside her just-announced Coachella appearance, Governors Ball continues Lorde’s return to the stage in 2017. She last toured in 2014.
The festival’s lineup also features Danny Brown, Air, Rae Sremmurd, Flume, Beach House, Mac DeMarco, Schoolboy Q, Parquet Courts, YG, Car Seat Headrest, Warpaint, Francis and the Lights, Skepta, Charli XCX, Franz Ferdinand, Charles Bradley, A$AP Ferg, Wiz Khalifa, Phantogram, Bleachers, Kehlani, Stormzy, and Zane Lowe.
