Justin Hurwitz, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul have won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for his La La Land song “City of Stars.” The composers beat out Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling” (for Trolls), as well as songs from Sing, Gold, and Moana for the award. Hurwitz, Pasek and, Paul accepted the award at the ceremony, saying the win was “for musical theater nerds everywhere.”
