Today, Morrissey has announced on official fan site True to You that the final six shows of his U.S. tour have been cancelled, after previously postponing them in November. In his note, he cites difficulties with the tour’s management company 360 Management, who’ve controlled the tour’s finances since August. He says that after the collapse of his keyboardist Gustavo Manzur during a Boulder, Colorado show, 360 Management told Morrissey “that all funds had suddenly evaporated.” Soon afterwards, he says “there was apparently not even enough money to transport the touring party to the next scheduled city, and 360 Management faded out as quickly as they had faded in.” You can read the entirety of Morrissey’s announcement here.
