Early next year, Kurt Vile will conclude his seemingly never-ending tour behind b'lieve i'm goin' down. Check out a handful of new dates below. To accompany the announcement, Vile has shared a “commercial” for his upcoming New Year’s Eve concert at the Fillmore, in Philadelphia. The goofy clip stars Philadelphia Eagles’ Connor Barwin—a noted indie-rock fan—who enthusiastically helps Vile sell the show. At the end of the video, Barwin heaves Vile onto his shoulders in a fireman’s lift and scarpers. Check it out below.
Vile will also star and perform in “Joe's Pub Presents: A Holiday Special,” a comedy and music special from IFC airing December 21 at 10 p.m. Tony Hale, Bridget Everett, Jen Kirkman, Lisa Loeb, and more will also appear, alongside house band the Dap-Kings.
