Jamie Foxx will executive produce an upcoming TV series about Marvin Gaye, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He will produce the series alongside Passe Jones Entertainment’s Suzanne de Passe and Madison Jones, and it will be the first series to be authorized by the Gaye family. Marvin Gaye’s son Marvin Gaye III (also an executive producer on the project) says the series will be “a powerful and definitive telling of Marvin Gaye's life story.” Jones and de Passe are currently talking to Sony/ATV about using Gaye’s music for the series.
