Since the release of 2013’s Random Access Memories, Daft Punk have put out a great deal of very cool merchandise, including some helmet rings earlier this year. Today, they’ve released another piece of awesome memorabilia: a Limited Edition Portrait Painting of the duo that appeared in the Weeknd’s “Starboy” video. It measures 27 inches by 41 inches, and features “archival ink print, UV cured, on unbleached, archival 14 oz canvas.” They cost $140 each, and are limited to 500 units. On the advertisement poster, they cheekily address imposters, telling fans it is “Now yours to (legally) own.” Check out the ad below, and buy the print here.
In addition to the title track, Daft Punk appear on Starboy’s closing song, “I Feel It Coming.” The record is out November 25 (via XO/Republic), and includes appearances from Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar, and Future. Recently, the Weeknd teased a new “visual piece” called Mania, which features some of the same imagery from Grant Singer’s “Starboy” video.
