Arcade Fire are headlining Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans tonight. Last night, they prepared for the show with a secret set at an empty space at New Orleans’ Secondline Stages, The Times-Picayune reports. During the show, they treated a small audience of people in Halloween costumes to new material. Phones were confiscated at the door, so it’s unlikely that any footage will surface of the show. Be sure to tune into the Voodoo live stream tonight to see if they bring any of that new material to the big stage. Their last album was 2013’s Reflektor.
In June, Will Butler said a new Arcade Fire album could possibly be released next spring, but that there was no “definite schedule” and that the album will be “done when it's done.”
