Abbey Road is one of the most iconic recording studios in history, counting Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Adele, Kanye West, Amy Winehouse, Stevie Wonder, and (of course) the Beatles among the artists who have recorded there. Now, Airbnb has announced a competition offering entrants an overnight stay at one of the rooms in the studio, with the winner (and up to three other guests) getting an opportunity to hang out with Mark Ronson as well. (Judging from the listing, the recording studio aspect of the space won’t be off-limits to the winner.)
The contest guidelines ask for 100-500 characters on the following prompt: which song’s recording do you most wish you’d witnessed at Abbey Road? The company’s official description of the space is not without “house rules,” which include the following: “No smoking near the Moog,” “Don’t go chasing pavements,” and, “No matter what happens, just… let it be.” Earlier this month, the company announced that people in New York could enter to win a stay at Rough Trade’s Williamsburg location.
