Jack White recently shared the previously unreleased “City Lights,” ahead of his career-spanning new release Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016. In the following days, director and frequent White Stripes collaborator Michel Gondry whipped together a video for the song and sent it as a “surprise gift,” according to a press release. You can watch that video below. In it, somebody in a shower draws faces, trees, and planes on a pane of glass, allowing the condensation to slowly erase the earlier versions.
