In a tweet, SZA said she was “roughed up by a Philly cop” earlier tonight. The singer/songwriter is in Philadelphia for Made in America Festival, where she performed last night. “Like why do we have to dehumanize each other to get a point across?” she asked in a subsequent tweet. “It's so sad ... I know for a fact people are better than this.” See her tweets below. Pitchfork has reached out to representatives for SZA and the Philadelphia Police Department for comment.
