Earlier this week, Kid Cudi announced plans to release a new album called Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ today. Earlier tonight, he took to Twitter to reveal that the album had been delayed due to sample clearance issues.“Due to some minor sample clearances being finalized, we miss our deadline for tonight,” he wrote. “HOWEVER, you will be able to purchase ‘FREQUENCY’ and ‘SURFIN’ within the next 48hrs for your groovy pleasure to hold you over.” Read the full announcement below.
Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ follows 2015’s Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven. It includes the previously shared songs “The Frequency” (produced by Plain Pat and Mike Dean) and “All In” (produced by Mike WiLL Made-It). The album features André 3000 (credited as André Benjamin), Travis Scott, Pharrell, and Willow Smith.
