Hear Lower Dens Cover Hall and Oates’ “Maneater”

Lower Dens have shared their cover of Hall and Oates’ “Maneater,” a song they’ve performed live in the past. It is set to appear on amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research’s new charity album The Time Is Now, which is out October 7 (via Republic Records/Mass Appeal Records). Hear Lower Dens’ cover below.

The Time Is Now is a collection of ’80s covers. It includes the recently released cover of New Order’s “Bizarre Love Triangle” by Sugar for Sugar—Scarlett Johansson’s band with Julia Haltigan, Holly Miranda, and Kendra Morris. There’s also Phantogram covering Phil Collins, Metric playing the Church, Aloe Blacc singing Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean,” and more. See the full tracklist and cover artwork below.
