Fresh off her breakout performance in Kanye West’s “Fade” video, Teyana Taylor has signed on for two upcoming VH1 shows, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Taylor will appear on the hip-hop drama “The Breaks” and the game show “Hip Hop Squares.” An adaptation of the successful TV movie, “The Breaks” follows three friends trying to become stars in New York City in 1990. Taylor will play a rapper in the series. Before that, she will be a guest on “Hip Hop Squares,” a reimagining of the celebrity game show “Hollywood Squares.” (Another show called “Hip Hop Squares” aired on MTV in 2012.) VH1’s “Hip Hop Squares” will air later this fall while “The Breaks” is scheduled for 2017. Taylor first appeared on VH1 earlier this year when she performed in the Lil Kim “Hip Hop Honors” tribute.
