Last night during their set at Fenway Park in Boston, Pearl Jam brought out a Massachusetts guitar hero: Dinosaur Jr.’s J Mascis. They covered Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World”—a song Pearl Jam have performed many, many times (including their renditions with a newly reformed Sleater-Kinney and once with Arcade Fire’s Win Butler).
