Lollapalooza's first-ever installment in Colombia was set to take place from September 17-18. Festival organizers have announced that it's not going to happen. The festival's headliner hadn't been announced—the festival's poster (below) listed “?????” at the top of the lineup. Organizers note that the headliner pulled out of the festival just prior to the full lineup announcement. They noted that there wasn't enough time to find a replacement. The festival's lineup included Lana Del Rey, Disclosure, Wiz Khalifa, Anderson .Paak, Esperanza Spalding, Wild Nothing, and others. Tickets are being refunded.
La Tercera reports (via CoS) that the unnamed headliner was Rihanna. They report that the singer withdrew from the festival due to concerns over the Zika virus scare. Pitchfork has reached out to Rihanna's representatives for comment.
Lollapalooza's Chicago festival takes place this year from July 28-31. It's headlined by Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and LCD Soundsystem.
