Blood Orange: Freetown Sound [Domino]

Freetown Sound is Dev Hynes’ follow-up to Blood Orange’s 2013 album Cupid Deluxe. It features Empress Of, Debbie Harry, Nelly Furtado, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Carly Rae Jepsen, Zuri Marley, and more. Bat for Lashes: The Bride [Parlophone]

The Bride is Natasha Khan’s follow-up to 2012’s The Haunted Man. The album was produced by Khan alongside collaborators like Dan Carey, Head, Simone Felice, and Ben Christophers. Maxwell: blackSUMMERS’night [Columbia]

Metronomy: Summer 08 [Because Music]

Metronomy’s last album, Love Letters, came out in 2014. Summer 08’s lead single is “Old Skool,” which features Beastie Boys affiliate Mix Master Mike. It also includes “Hang Me Out to Dry,” which features Robyn.

Desiigner: New English [GOOD]

New English is Desiigner’s debut mixtape. The 13-track effort features Pusha T and King Savage. The album is led by the chart-topping single “Panda,” which got a Kanye West-featuring video. The song was sampled in “Pt. 2” from Kanye’s The Life of Pablo.
