Yesterday afternoon, Prophets of Rage, the supergroup featuring members of Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy, and Cypress Hill, announced their existence. The group's lineup includes Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk, Public Enemy's Chuck D and DJ Lord, and Cypress Hill's B-Real. They made their live debut tonight at the Whiskey a Go-Go in Los Angeles, performing songs by all three groups, as well as a new song with a “Shut ’em down” refrain. Watch footage below (the new song starts about 40 seconds into Cypress Hill's Facebook video), and scroll down for the setlist, via Billboard. Proceeds from the show will benefit PATH, an organization that works to end homelessness.
