Katie and Allison Crutchfield are probably best known for their work in Waxahatchee and Swearin'. In 2007, they started a band called P.S. Eliot, who eventually broke up in 2011. This year, they're releasing P.S. Eliot's complete recorded works in a new 2xCD compilation. 2007-2011 is out September 2 via Don Giovanni. It features both of the band's albums (2009's Introverted Romance in Our Troubled Minds and 2011's Sadie), their 2010 Living in Squalor EP, plus several demos and home recordings. Everything has been digitally remastered, and mail ordered copies come with a limited edition zine featuring an oral history of the band assembled by Liz Pelly (who has contributed to Pitchfork). Find the full tracklist below. This year, P.S. Eliot's core lineup (both Crutchfields, Katherine Simonetti, and Will Granger) will reunite for a series of concerts—find those dates below.
Just yesterday, Waxahatchee announced that a collection called Early Recordings would be available on June 17 via Merge.
