Madonna will honor the late Prince later this month at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards, Billboard reports. The ceremony takes place at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena on April 22. The program will also contain a "statement performance" from Kesha, according to TMZ. The singer's performance will reportedly feature "direct references" to her legal battle with Dr. Luke.
Several musicians have already been confirmed for this year's Billboard Music Awards, hosted by Ludacris and Ciara. Justin Bieber, Celine Dion (recipient of this year's ICON award), Britney Spears, P!nk, Fifth Harmony, the Go-Go's, Demi Lovato, DNCE, Shawn Mendes, and Troye Silvan. Nick Jonas and Tove Lo will team up for a performance, as well.
