Kesha Says She Was Offered "Freedom" From Label in Exchange for Public Apology

In February, a court ruling denied Kesha a preliminary injunction in her legal battle against Dr. Luke, the producer she has sued on claims of rape and other abuse. Her label Sony Music Entertainment later offered support, but said it could not legally end her contract with Luke's Kemosabe Records. In March, Kesha appealed and asked for a second opinion on the injunction. Now, the singer has posted a note on her Instagram, writing that she could apologize to get out of her label deal. so. I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors. I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again.
