Kesha Says She Was Offered "Freedom" From Label in Exchange for Public Apology

In February, a court ruling denied Kesha a preliminary injunction in her legal battle against Dr. Luke, the producer she has sued on claims of rape and other abuse. Her label Sony Music Entertainment later offered support, but said it could not legally end her contract with Luke's Kemosabe Records. In March, Kesha appealed and asked for a second opinion on the injunction. Now, the singer has posted a note on her Instagram, writing that she could apologize to get out of her label deal.
