Kate Bush Pays Tribute to Prince

Kate Bush Pays Tribute to Prince

Kate Bush is the latest artist to reflect on the late Prince, who died last week at 57. In a statement published on her website, she remembers him as "a man in complete control of his work from writer and musician to producer and director," declaring him "the most inventive and extraordinary live act I've seen." Read her tribute to the icon below. Bush collaborated with Prince several times in the 1990s. He appeared on "Why Should I Love You," from her 1993 album The Red Shoes, and she contributed to Prince's 1996 LP Emancipation

Support has poured out from across the musical community in the wake of Prince's death.

A message for Prince

from Kate...

I am so sad and shocked to hear the tragic news about Prince. He was the most incredibly talented artist. A man in complete control of his work from writer and musician to producer and director. He was such an inspiration. Playful and mind-blowingly gifted. He was the most inventive and extraordinary live act I've seen. The world has lost someone truly magical. Goodnight dear Prince.
