In February, Jay Electronica dissed Kendrick Lamar on Periscope. At the time, he said, "Kendrick would tell you himself he couldn't body me. Kendrick is my son. Kendrick is my baby. Kendrick wishes he could be me." For good measure, he dissed 50 Cent, too, whom he said is "on some sucker shit." Later that month, he dropped a new song "#TBE The Curse of Mayweather," in which he dissed the two again. Two months later, Jay Elec has taken to Twitter to apologize to the rappers, as XXL points out. In a long series of tweets, he gave "peace" to a litany of people, including Vince Staples, Solange, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Chris Brown. At the end of the flurry, he gave peace to Kendrick and Top Dawg Entertainment, asking them to "forgive [his] past transgressions." In apologizing to 50, Jay says he's "just waiting for him to let his greatness shine." He adds that Louis Farrakhan told him "to unite our people not divide them." See his tweets below.
