Last year, Jack White embarked on his first-ever all-acoustic trek. The intimate shows, which saw him performing solo material and covers alongside White Stripes and Raconteurs favorites, took place across five U.S. states he'd never played before: Alaska, Wyoming, Idaho, North Dakota, and South Dakota. (His wrap-up show in Fargo, ND was livestreamed on Tidal.) Now, White's label Third Man Records is looking back on those gigs with the 28th installment of its long-running Vault package series. The latest package includes Live in Idaho, a recording of his April 22 performance at Boise's Egyptian Theatre, the concert DVD Live in Alaska (filmed at April 20's show at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium in Anchorage), Pictures From Unknown States, a 52-page book of photographs taken by David James Swanson during the trek, and a pair of Risograph prints. In advance of the upcoming bundle, White's shared a track from Live in Idaho. Listen to his live take on the White Stripes’ "Sugar Never Tasted So Good" above. Find the setlists for both CD and DVD here, and relive Jack White's Fargo show in its entirety below.
Those without a Vault subscription must sign up before April 30 to receive the package.
