El-P, Despot, and Holy Ghost!'s Alex Frankel Open Brooklyn Deli

El-P, Despot, and Holy Ghost!'s Alex Frankel have opened a restaurant together. Frankel's Delicatessen, a Jewish deli with a focus on New York City staples like bagels, sauerkraut hot dogs and matzoh ball soup, is located on 631 Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. According to El-P, Frankel's is primarily the endeavor of Alex Frankel and his brother Zach Frankel. The Run the Jewels member "grew up loving Jewish deli food," and is an investor in the business alongside frequent collaborator Despot. Frankel's had its' grand opening today, and judging from the below photos it was a successful first day.

My deli is open. My friends stopped by. This guy gave it the thumbs up.
