Foo Fighters Mock Breakup Rumors With Hilarious Video (and Nick Lachey)

Following rumors that the band were getting ready to announce their breakup, Foo Fighters have shared a faux-documentary video mocking those rumors. It features Dave Grohl justifying his decision to go solo with producer Butch Vig. Meanwhile, the rest of the band ponder who will take his place. (Discussed: Sammy Hagar, Billy Corgan, Chris Cornell, Phil Collins, and Justin Bieber.) Then, a replacement finally takes Grohl's place: Nick Lachey. It ends with this message: "For the millionth time, we're not breaking up and nobody's going fucking solo." It's really funny. Watch it below.

Recently, Taylor Hawkins hinted that the band would be taking a break. "We did so much in the past five or six years," he said in an interview. "I think the world needs a break from us for a little while."

Foo Fighters' last album Sonic Highways came out in 2014; it was accompanied by an Emmy-winning HBO series. Last November, they released the Saint Cecilia EP. They also toured extensively while Grohl had a broken leg. He performed while sitting on a ridiculous throne of his own design.
