On June 17, Neko Case, k.d. lang, and Laura Veirs will release a new collaborative album, case/lang/veirs. Out June 17 on ANTI-, it'll be accompanied by a North American tour this summer. Below, check out the dates and LP artwork, and scroll down to hear new track "Atomic Number" and watch an album trailer.
The collaboration was first floated "several years ago" when lang sent Case and Veirs an email reading, "I think we should make a record together," according to a press release. Both lang and Case went on to contribute to Veirs' 2013 album Warp and Weft. The trio recorded the new record in Portland, Oregon, with producer Tucker Martine, between lang's loft and Veirs' dining room and backyard studio.
