Drake's love for the UK grime label Boy Better Know is well-documented. Last year, he got a BBK tattoo, jumped on a Wizkid track with label co-founder Skepta, and brought out Skepta for an impromptu "Shutdown" performance at Wireless festival. Last night, the OVO boss took his fandom to the next level, first joining Skepta for a surprise appearance at Section Boyz' Village Underground show in London, then hinting that he's signed with BBK. Video begins midway through Skepta's "It Ain't Safe." Drake comes in to do "Jumpman" after "Shutdown." Earlier that night, he'd performed with Rihanna at the BRIT Awards, where grime was, contentiously, unrepresented.
Last night BBK member Wiley alluded to Drake's apparent signing on Twitter. We're waiting for confirmation from BBK's representatives.
